Can you get a petit larceny charge removed or sealed?

Hi, I live in NY and a year ago I plead guilty to petit larceny(155.25) and received community service and 1year Condtional Discharge. I am currently looking for a job in the education field and wanna know could I get that charge sealed or removed.
